Alex's Place Paediatric Physiotherapy Service

Alex’s Place

is an independent private paediatric physiotherapy practice based in Stafford, UK.

We specialise in early intervention physiotherapy for babies and young children, providing high-quality assessment and individually tailored treatment to support development at the earliest possible stage. Therapy is delivered by Aleksandra Szłapa, MSc (Physiotherapy), an experienced paediatric physiotherapist with broad experience in paediatric neurodevelopment and motor control, and a strong focus on working closely with families.

Alex’s Place offers specialist physiotherapy in a well-equipped, safe and welcoming clinical environment. In addition to regular therapy sessions, intensive therapy blocks may be available in selected cases, subject to clinical suitability and availability.

Get in touch to discuss how early physiotherapy support may help your child.

How We Can Help

At Alex’s Place, we use a wide range of specialist paediatric physiotherapy approaches, hands-on techniques and therapeutic equipment. We do not follow one single method – therapy is individually selected and combined according to each child’s needs, abilities and goals.

Our therapy approaches and techniques include:

• Vojta Therapy
• NDT-Bobath
• PIMT – Paediatric Integrative Manual Therapy
• DMI – Dynamic Movement Intervention, Levels A, B & C
• E-Stim / FES – Electrical and Functional Electrical Stimulation
• Sensory Integration
• PNF – Basic, Advanced & PNF in Paediatrics
• Myofascial Techniques
• Cranial Work
• Kinesio Taping

We also use specialist therapeutic equipment and technology, including:

• Galileo Vibration Training
• Hypervibe Vibration Training
• Innowalk

Each child is assessed individually, and different approaches may be combined within the same therapy programme to provide the most appropriate support for their development and functional goals.
